Integrated suspension. With the Big Apple, the balloon-tyre trend began 10 years ago: comfortable cycling without expensive technology! The tyres air cushion is used as natural suspension. At a pressure of approx. 2 bar a balloon wheel rolls easily while still fully cushioning. A normal tyre of 37 mm width has to be inflated to at least 4 bar to roll the same.
