We respect your right to privacy. In the interest of transparency, this policy provides detailed information on which personal data we process, for what purpose, for how long, to whom we disclose it, what rights you have, and much more.
1. Personal data protection is a priority in everything we do.
Your trust is important to us. We respect your control over your personal data and digital content, and our priority is to prevent any unauthorised access to it. Whenever we ask you for information, we request only what we need—nothing more. To verify your email address, we use a double opt-in feature.
What personal data do we request from you?
We collect personal data that you provide to us—for example, when you place an order, contact us, or submit a review of a purchase or a product. The personal data you provide includes required data (contact details and payment information) as well as optional data. Without the required data, you cannot make a purchase with us. You voluntarily provide personal data where we ask for your consent, e.g., during registration, newsletter subscription, advisory services, discussions, reviews, and more, to the extent specified there.
How do we use your personal data?
We need your data for the following purposes, among others:
- Create and manage your personal account (registration)

- Send satisfaction surveys to give you the opportunity to influence our offer and services
- Test and improve the systems through which we provide our services
- Prevent misuse of our services
We will retain your personal data for the necessary period, particularly for the purposes listed above:
- for purchases with or without registration, for three years, with a new three-year period starting from the date of your last order,
- for reviews of purchases or products, for three years,
- for sending commercial communications without a purchase, discussion, back-in-stock alerts, contact form submissions, advisory queries, product questions, etc., for one year,
- or for the period required by law (for 11 years for data stated on a tax document, to fulfil legal obligations under Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on Value Added Tax, as amended).
After these periods, your personal data will be deleted unless you consent to an extension of processing.
2. We will protect you
We continually improve our services. We have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation, and unauthorised access. We continually adapt our security measures in line with technological progress and developments. To ensure card payments are as secure as possible, all information is transmitted in encrypted form using SSL protocol. This means the information passes through a secure connection and your card details cannot be read by external parties. For card payments, we work with an authorised payment intermediary who helps us verify directly with your bank that the card is valid for purchases. We do this through our services and by sharing information with you. The data we collect from you is stored only within the territory of the European Union.
3. You decide how much you share with us
To provide you with better services and relevant updates, we collect information on how our applications are used. This means that when you use our website, we determine which features are used most frequently and which actions trigger error messages. If you do not like such tracking, you can enable anonymous mode in your browser or adjust your cookie settings. Read more in the Cookie Policy.
You can also withdraw your consent by clicking the “Unsubscribe from Newsletter” link in any email we send, or by contacting us at our email address obchod(@)axit.cz.
