The Detonator, with its Dual Compound technology, is an excellent training tyre with a racing pedigree. The Detonator is durable enough that you can ride a great many kilometres on it during winter and spring preparation, yet supple enough to race on in summer.

• Dual Compound – a harder centre compound (62a) ensures low rolling resistance with slow wear, while the softer compound (57a) used on the sides offers excellent sidewall conformability and great cornering grip, whether in the rain or in the dry
