The top-end FSA Afterburner WideR 27.5 MTB wheels are built on Tubeless ready duralumin rims with an asymmetric profile and an inner width of 27mm.

Manufacturer code - 051934 The top-end FSA Afterburner WideR 27.5 MTB wheels are built on Tubeless ready duralumin rims with an asymmetric profile and an inner width of 27mm. The advantage of wheels with an asymmetric rim profile is almost equal spoke lengths and also very similar spoke tension on both sides. The rims are laced onto FSA disc hubs designed for 6-bolt rotors and equipped with P.R.A. (Preload Reduction Assembly) technology with quality industrial bearings to minimise friction and direct spoke mounting for maximum power transfer efficiency. The wheels are hand-built in Italy with 2x butted spokes and brass ABS nipples. Both the front and rear wheel have a lacing consisting of 24pcs of 2x crossed spokes. The front hub is compatible with TA15 and QR9 100mm axles. The rear hub is compatible with 12x142TA and QR9 135mm axles. The duralumin freehub body has six pawls for instant engagement (the engagement angle is 6.6°, with 3 pawls always engaged), and is compatible with Shimano 9/10/11-speed or SRAM 9/10-speed cassettes. (also available with an XD freehub body for 11-speed SRAM cassettes) The pack contains 2pcs of tubeless valves, a conversion kit from TA15/12x142TA to QR9 and QR9 quick-release axles. Weight 1650g.
