The Overdrive Excel is reinforced with a SilkShield protective layer. Two compounds are used in the tread to give us a perfect, affordable trekking tyre. Of course a reflective stripe cannot be missing, for better visibility in the citys night streets. So if you need a reliable, high-performance trekking tyre at a pleasant price, the Overdrive Excel will certainly not disappoint you.

• SilkShield – offers bead-to-bead protection (unlike Silkworm, which is only under the tread), thus providing a better level of sidewall protection against cuts or abrasion
• Dual Compound – a harder centre compound (62a) ensures low rolling resistance with slow wear, while the softer compound (57a) used on the sides offers excellent sidewall conformability and great cornering grip, whether in the rain or in the dry
• Casing with a thread density of 60 TPI
