Tip: check the pressure at least once a month with a pressure gauge.

Checking the pressure just by pressing with your fingers is very unreliable. Tyres are overloaded even at half the recommended pressure. The result of this widespread bad habit is a disproportionately increased rolling resistance and premature tyre wear. The correct pressure depends on the tyre width and its load. The table is indicative for a person weighing 75 kg. If you are heavier or ride with luggage, increase the pressure. If you are lighter or want more comfort, you can reduce the pressure.

However, never exceed the maximum and minimum values stated on the tyre.
