The Mavic Crossride FTS-X 27.5 rear built mountain wheel is a reliable solution for trail and cross-country riding on frames with dropouts for a classic quick release. The basis is a durable rim made of S6000 aluminium alloy with an internal width of 21 mm in the Clincher Tubeless Ready design, which allows the use of both classic tyres with an inner tube and modern tubeless systems.

At the centre of the wheel is a hub fitted with a solid steel quick-release axle and sealed industrial QRM bearings, which guarantee smooth running with minimal maintenance requirements. Reliable transfer of drive to the pedals is handled by the proven FTS-X freewheel mechanism with a Shimano HG / SRAM type freehub body. The brake rotor is mounted using a standard 6-bolt interface.

Stiffness and overall durability are ensured by lacing with 24 straight steel spokes (straight pull), which are crossed twice. Steel nipples with ABS technology prevent the lacing from loosening on its own when riding in demanding terrain.
