The Mavic Aksium front built wheel is designed for everyday road riding, offering high reliability and efficient running. The S6000 Aluminum alloy rim construction with a height of 21 mm and a precise joint provides a long service life even with high mileage, without the need for frequent servicing.

The 17 mm internal rim width allows fitting wider tyres, which brings better absorption of bumps and higher riding comfort. The wheel is designed for standard tyres with an inner tube (Tubetype) and road rim brakes. Smooth rotation and minimal rolling resistance are ensured by quality sealed industrial QRM bearings.

The strength and torsional stiffness of the whole are provided by a radial lacing made of 20 steel straight-pull spokes with a round profile, held in steel nipples with the ABS system against self-loosening.
