BBB helmet BHE-08 Tithon (black)

Over the past two years we have moved from designs focused on ventilation to designs that prioritise sleek aerodynamics. While we understand the desire for low drag, we also feel that better aerodynamics compromises rider comfort through reduced ventilation. With the help of the Advanced Embodiment Design team at Delft University of Technology, we began studying the thermodynamic and aerodynamic properties of a cycling helmet (1). From the start of the process, our goal was to find the optimal balance between low drag and excellent ventilation. Then we returned to our design department and their 3D modelling team, and then, with plenty of prototypes, back to the wind tunnel.

And finally, in less than a year we completed the most demanding development process in BBBs history, and the new Tithon helmet is here. The optimal blend of speed and comfort (2).

Or as our pro riders like to call it, "free speed".
