DIRECT MOUNT FRONT next-generation brake calliper (from model year 2019) with a modified shape that shows better aerodynamic values. The width of the brake calliper has also been modified, so the new calliper can now take tyres up to 28 mm wide without any problem. The last improvement was made at the point where the calliper is attached to the frame: the brake calliper sits closer to the frame, which has a positive effect not only on the resulting aesthetic impression but also on brake efficiency.
The DM brake calliper provides balanced distribution of braking force to the right and left sides of the rim, achieved thanks to its unique construction and attachment with 2 bolts. The standard brake shoes sit on a conical washer, allowing comfortable and quick adjustment in all directions relative to the rim, and the aluminium bolts, nuts and washers give the callipers a lightweight look.
