Great attention was paid to the development of the H11 brake pads. Although it is a small component, it is very important for the proper efficiency of the brakes. Campagnolo has patented not only the composition of the organic brake compound but also the shape of the brake pads.

For the easiest possible wheel installation and central positioning of the brake rotor between the brake pads, the edges of the brake lining were modified so that the wheel simply slips into the brake caliper.

Also very interesting is the solution by which Campagnolo reduces vibration and noise produced by friction against the brake rotor/when braking. For this reason Campagnolo laminates the outer surface of the brake pad with a special in-house compound, which should practically eliminate the unpleasant noises made by disc brakes.

Another technical solution worth highlighting is the attachment of the brake pads in the brake calipers itself. Campagnolo did not go the way of a spreader spring plate, which tires over time and insufficiently presses the brake pads against the caliper pistons. It chose a solution of attachment by a permanent magnet, which ensures perfect adhesion of the pad to the caliper. In addition, this solution is ideal in terms of replacement and maintenance.
