Chorus™ 12x2 CHAIN is specially intended for use with the 12x2 speed system. The chain is joined exclusively with the special Campagnolo UT-CN300 chain tool or the universal chain tool for all types of chains Rohloff Revolver 3, using the special CN-SR600 guide pin.

Compared with the chain for the 11x2 system, the individual links are narrower (5.45 mm vs. 5.15 mm), all while retaining the same service life, i.e. 3000 km to 8000 km. The individual pins have been modified for quieter chain running. In the 11x2 system these pins protruded beyond the individual links by 0.1 mm. With the 12x2 chain it is only 0.02 mm (the exception being the chains connecting pin).
