The Minion DHF is a legend among freeride and downhill tyres. A standard that other competing tyres try to approach. The DHF can be used at the front and the rear (depending on track conditions). It has excellent ride characteristics, above all it sits perfectly in corners and holds its line superbly when riding fast. It is designed for loose natural surfaces such as gravel, mud and clay. Angled knobs in the centre of the tread reduce rolling resistance, and transverse grooves in the tread multiply the number of edges that hold better on loose ground.

Todays world is extremely favourable to tubeless systems using sealant. Maxxis TR tyres fully match this trend. On the one hand they are considerably lighter than the previously used LUST (Light UST) variants, yet their construction and bead shape perfectly meet the needs of tubeless setups. Tubeless tyres can be run at lower pressure, which increases the contact patch and the treads ability to follow the terrain, while removing the risk of a pinch puncture, i.e. damage to the tube. Last but not least, weight is saved, and without a separate tube the friction inside the wheel is reduced too.
