The 29" Mavic Crossmax built wheelset is a durable and reliable solution for cross-country riding. The wheels combine welded rims made of a lightweight and strong Maxtal aluminium alloy with Infinity hubs and the Instant Drive 360 ratchet freewheel system, which provides quick engagement and efficient power transfer.

Rims with an internal width of 25 mm in the Clincher Tubeless Ready tubeless design allow riding at lower tyre pressures, which brings greater comfort, better traction off-road and significantly reduces the risk of punctures. The lacing consists of 24 steel straight, double-butted flat straight pull spokes on both the front and rear wheel, laced in a double-cross pattern for optimal stiffness of the whole wheel.

The wheels are intended for frames and forks with the Boost standard (front axle 15×110 mm, rear axle 12×148 mm) and disc brakes with 6-bolt mounting. The rear hub is fitted with a freehub body for SRAM XD cassettes.
