The Mavic CROSSRIDE FTS-X 29 29 rear 16" mountain built wheel is a reliable and durable solution for mountain bikes with a frame designed for a classic quick release. It combines the proven construction of the Mavic brand with modern features for confident off-road riding.

The basis is an aluminium rim with an internal width of 21 mm and a sleeved joint. The construction is in the Tubeless Ready design, which allows use with classic tyres and inner tubes as well as tubeless setups. The valve hole with a diameter of 8.5 mm is fitted with a practical reducer, thanks to which you can use both a Presta and a Schrader valve without trouble.

Durability and stiffness are ensured by lacing of 24 round steel straight-pull spokes, laced with double crossing. The straight pull of the spokes eliminates bending stress on the head and significantly reduces the risk of breakage.

The rear hub with a solid steel axle is fitted with quality sealed industrial QRM bearings, which stand out with smooth running, minimal play and a long service life. Power transfer is provided by the reliable FTS-X freewheel mechanism with a freehub body compatible with Shimano HG and SRAM cassettes. The brake disc is mounted using the 6 bolt standard.
