Mavic built wheelset CROSSMAX 27.5 6-BOLT

The Mavic Crossmax 27.5 built wheels are a reliable set for modern cross-country riding. They build on proven racing technologies of the Mavic brand and offer a balanced ratio of stiffness, durability and low weight.

The basis of the wheels is welded rims made of patented Maxtal aluminium alloy with an internal width of 25 mm. This profile provides stable support for modern XC tyres and is fully ready for tubeless use (Tubeless Ready), which brings better traction, higher comfort and a significantly lower risk of punctures.

The front and rear Mavic Infinity hub with an aluminium axle uses QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play adjustment, which ensures smooth rotation without the need for manual adjustment. Energy transfer is provided by the Instant Drive 360 ratchet system with fast engagement response and high durability.

The wheels are laced with 24 straight steel spokes with a butted and flat profile (straight pull, double butted), which are double-crossed on both wheels. Steel nipples with the ABS system prevent the lacing from loosening by itself in demanding terrain.
