Low weight, durability and outstanding lateral stiffness – that is the new Ksyrium SL, which once again raises the standard among aluminium road wheels.

The Mavic Ksyrium SL front built wheel is a light and reliable aluminium model for road bikes with classic rim brakes. Thanks to Mavics patented technologies it offers high stiffness, low rotating weight and excellent durability in everyday training as well as in racing.

The rim made of patented Maxtal aluminium alloy has a height of 22 mm and an internal width of 19 mm, which ensures optimal support for modern wider road tyres. The integrated Fore nipple technology keeps the upper wall of the rim solid, without spoke holes, which increases overall strength and allows the use of tubeless tyres (UST Tubeless Ready) without the need to install sealing tape in the rim. The wheel can of course also be fitted with a classic tyre with an inner tube.

The lacing consists of 18 straight steel spokes (straight pull) with a patented elliptical aero profile, laced radially for maximum stiffness and low aerodynamic drag. The aluminium hub spins on QRM Auto industrial bearings, which feature automatic play adjustment for smooth running without the need for frequent adjustment.
