The Mavic KSYRIUM S DISC road built wheelset for disc brakes brings proven technologies in a durable and lightweight aluminium design.

The rims made of patented Maxtal aluminium alloy have a height of 22 mm and an internal width of 19 mm. They are ready for conventional inner-tube tyres as well as UST Tubeless Ready tubeless use. Thanks to the integrated Fore nipple technology, the upper bridge of the rim stays undrilled, which increases rim strength and eliminates the need for a tubeless tape.

The hubs with an aluminium axle use QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play compensation, which ensure smooth running without the need for frequent adjustment. Reliable and quick engagement is guaranteed by the Instant Drive 360 freehub body. Stiffness and the transfer of braking and driving forces are ensured by 24 straight, double-butted flat spokes on the front and rear wheel, laced in a double-cross pattern without mutual contact.
