Product description

The Verdict is WTBs most aggressive front tyre, designed for conditions where great traction takes priority over efficient rolling. The tall, robust tread knobs bite deep into soft terrain, no matter how unstable it may be. The generous open space between the individual knobs allows them to cut into the ground even on the driest summer days and, conversely, enables effective self-cleaning of mud in less friendly weather.

The Verdict complements the Judge rear tyre excellently.

TriTec compound

TriTec uses three rubber compounds to provide different levels of traction, support and durability based on their placement in the tyre. The entire pattern is supported by a base of very hard rubber that extends up to half the height of the tread knobs and allows softer compounds to be used in the knobs without them deforming under cornering forces. The top of the centre knobs consists of a medium-durometer compound that provides traction and durability without reducing rolling efficiency, while the outer knobs are made of the softest compound, which provides maximum grip and slow rebound.

New WTB tyre protection – SG2

In addition to low weight, the SG2 tyre protection provides excellent protection against punctures and flats. This new protective layer is lightweight and contains an ultra-thin nylon insert that covers the entire surface of the tyre from bead to bead. You can thus head out onto any surface without fear of punctures.

How much more durable are the new tyres with SG2? Laboratory tests show that adding the SG2 protective layer provides 33% better sidewall protection and 17% better tread protection than standard 60 TPI tyres without SG2. That is why WTB comes with durable tyres that will hold you up on any surface.
