Tannus Tubeless Armour 29 x 2.10-2.60 protective insert
Product description
Tannus Armour Tubeless (TT) is a protection for tubeless tyres, developed by combining many properties into one product. That is why the TT is a combination of the best and, thanks to its original construction, is under patent protection, so no other manufacturer can offer the same combination of properties or a similar construction.
Arguments FOR:
- 20mm protection around the entire tyre.
- Patented construction system that snaps into the rim beads.
- The TT pressed against the tyre sidewall prevents punctures and, in the event of a puncture, reduces the speed of escaping air and thus reduces the consequences of the puncture.
- Ride-Flat technology (the ability to ride on after a puncture without worrying about damaging the rim).
- Very low weight. The CushCore product offering similar properties weighs 260 g in the 29‘‘ version. The TT weighs a mere 160 g!! (150 g/650B).
- The material was developed for use with tubeless sealants, is non-absorbent and does not degrade through exposure to the sealant.
- Thanks to its resistance to sealants, the TT can be reused repeatedly.
- Unlike some competing products, the TT is anchored in the rim beads and thus positively contributes to the bikes ride characteristics. It improves the tyres behaviour in corners.
- Holes in the walls for the free movement of sealant. Products in the form of solid tubular protectors noticeably worsen sealant flow and are therefore not as universal in sealing a puncture of the tread, the sidewalls or a leak at the bead.
- Reduced vibrations and thus a calmer ride and better wheel guidance on rough sections.
- Can be used with conventional tubeless valves.
