Product description

As is usual with Wolf Tooth, this is not Asian production but a comprehensively thought-out component. Everything is designed, machined and manufactured in Minnesota, USA. The pedal body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy and complemented with stainless steel 17-4 PH axles.

A welcome option is the offer of two different sizes, so that both a rider with a smaller foot and a tall fellow who uses childrens skis instead of shoes should be satisfied! In fact these are the sizes Small with a pedal platform of 105 x 99 mm and a weight of 373 g/pair. The larger Large version offers a platform of 112 x 106 mm and a weight of 384 g/pair.

The pedal platform is not perfectly flat but uses a dual-concave profile for correct foot placement, that is, one that thins spatially from the outer edges towards the centre. The pedal thickness at the narrowest central point is only 12.5 mm, at the edges it is 14 mm. A secure connection between pedal and sole is ensured by a set of 11 stainless steel pins on each side of the pedal. They are screwed in from the opposite side, so replacing them is no problem. The package also contains 6 spare pins, just in case.

The pedals are fitted with three quality, fully sealed bearings, which are additionally protected from the outside by a specially designed radial seal. Everything is again fully and easily serviceable, a basic set of hex keys is enough for disassembly.
