Lake shoes CX241 (black/silver)

CX241 road shoes were designed for riders who demand specific shaping of the shoe in its individual areas. Thanks to separate, individually adjustable segments, you can sensitively choose the tightening force and take into account, for example, a wider foot, a higher instep or protruding joints and bones. Individual adaptation to the specific shape of the foot prevents pain and helps the rider stay in the shoes for longer without pain and unpleasant pressure.

The shoes are fitted with two BOA closure systems and a 100% carbon Lake Race sole providing high stiffness with the required power transfer to the pedal, with the option of individual moulding of the carbon heel part. Combined with Mountain Race X rubber, the shoes are also comfortable for walking. The upper is made of quality cowhide with a long service life that retains high breathability and water resistance.

Upper

Separate cowhide segments combined with NuFoam lining. The properties of natural leather, thanks to its flexibility and low weight, are a great fit for use in areas where the foot is to be held comfortably in place. The upper, made up of individually adjustable segments, adapts very well to any foot shape. The lining is made of NuFoam material, which is highly flexible, allowing the shoe to adapt even better to the shape of the foot while maintaining breathability.

The features of the CX241 model give you a unique opportunity to adapt the shape of the shoe to your own foot even more individually. Thanks to the mouldable carbon heel part, you can repeatedly adapt the shoe to the shape of your foot and thus achieve a better feeling inside the shoe and higher pedalling efficiency.

Sole

Lake Competition 100% carbon sole. Version for mounting cleats with 3 holes. The 100% carbon fibre sole provides ideal power transfer to the pedal combined with excellent stiffness, low weight and an elegant look.

Fastening

Two BOA closure systems with two-way Push/Pull IP1 BOA® tension adjustment. The two-way closure system lets you achieve optimal tightness.

• Standard: whole sizes - 36-48, 50, half sizes - 39.5-46.5
• WIDE: whole sizes - 37-48, 50, half sizes - 39.5-46.5

Aftercare and maintenance of the shoes during use:

• The basis of footwear care is good-quality waterproofing, even before the first wear.
• The main function of waterproofing is to prevent moisture from penetrating the footwear. This not only protects the upper of the shoes from damage, but above all ensures flexibility and a long service life.
• Use a standard waterproofing product intended for genuine leather footwear.
• Apply the waterproofing to clean, well-dried footwear.
• If necessary, a brush can be used to mechanically remove dirt.
