Lake shoes CX238 Carbon (white/red)

LAKE CX238 road racing shoes with two BOA closure systems and a 100% carbon Lake Race sole providing the required stiffness with optimal power transfer to the pedal. The upper is made of quality leather with a long service life that retains high breathability and water resistance. A one-way fleece is used in the heel area to prevent the heel slipping out, helping to keep the foot in place and preventing unwanted movement of the foot in the shoe.

Upper

Fullgrain Water Resistant Ecco Premium leather combined with mesh and Outlast lining in the heel area. The leather upper has minimal stitching, which gives the shoe a discreet look, and over time it adapts perfectly to your foot. The Helcor heel panel and rubber toe cap protect the upper from abrasion and scratches. Outlast material, which regulates temperature and offers a pleasant feeling inside the shoe while maintaining breathability, is used for the heel and tongue lining.

Sole

Lake Competition 100% carbon sole. Version for mounting cleats with 3 holes. The 100% carbon fibre sole provides ideal power transfer to the pedal combined with excellent stiffness, low weight and an elegant look.

Fastening

Two BOA closure systems with two-way Push/Pull IP1-S BOA® tension adjustment. The two-way closure system lets you achieve optimal tightness.

• Standard: whole sizes - 39-48, 50, half sizes - 39.5-46.5
• WIDE: whole sizes - 37-48, 50, half sizes - 39.5-46.5

Aftercare and maintenance of the shoes during use:

• The basis of footwear care is good-quality waterproofing, even before the first wear.
• The main function of waterproofing is to prevent moisture from penetrating the footwear. This not only protects the upper of the shoes from damage, but above all ensures flexibility and a long service life.
• Use a standard waterproofing product intended for genuine leather footwear.
• Apply the waterproofing to clean, well-dried footwear.
• If necessary, a brush can be used to mechanically remove dirt.
