GRAPHENwax® – A super-supple, non-flaking, quiet wax that doesnt attract dirt. It offers excellent contamination protection and durability while keeping friction impressively low for longer in both dry and mixed conditions.

Thanks to its patented formula, GRAPHENwax® doesnt break down, flake or leave marks. Ideal for all types of bikes. Keeps your drivetrain clean. It is the quietest hot-melt wax you will ever use.

If you have a new chain, or a used chain lubricated with any oil, place it in a container or plastic bag with solvent, white spirit or any degreaser for 20-60 min. Then shake the bag with the chain, take the chain out and let it dry completely (10 - 12 hours – VERY IMPORTANT).

After this, degrease the chain again – ideally with 8% alcohol – and let it dry completely again. This procedure is only needed before the first wax application.

1) Remove all dirt and grease from the chain – see Preparing the chain for first use.

If the chain has already been waxed, simply clean it by pouring boiling water over it and letting it dry. This ensures you wont contaminate the wax bath when you dip the chain into the melted wax.

2) Heat GRAPHENwax® in a container to a medium temperature – it melts at 70°C, but you should heat it to 90-100°C for proper results.

3) Fully submerge the chain in the melted wax and wait until the wax reaches the required temperature, approx. 10-15 min.

4) Stir the chain in the melted wax in all directions for 3-5 min so that the links move and the wax gets inside every link.

5) Remove the chain, let the excess wax drip off and wipe the remaining wax from the sides of the links. Let the chain cool completely, approx. 15 min.

6) Once the chain has cooled completely to room temperature, hold it in one hand and pull it through the fingers of your other hand to free up the links. Your chain is now ready.

Be careful when waxing the chain, as wax melted to 90-100°C can cause serious burns.

Hydrocarbon waxes containing a special blend of high-purity graphene. Contains no harmful solvents.

Each chain treatment uses only 3-4 g (0.14 oz) of wax if you let it drip back into the wax pot while it dries.

If you clean the chain with boiling water (see video), let it dry and then wax it, the wax will last about 62 treatments and you will still have 100 g (3.5 oz) left in the pot to ensure the chain is fully submerged.

It depends on how much you contaminate the wax and how well you clean the chain before each waxing. The wax will always last the same number of applications regardless of cleaning, but if it gets too dirty it will no longer be as effective.
