SCIENTIA – DEDICATED TO CYCLISTS

Selle Royal, together with the German Sport University Cologne, developed the first comprehensive line of ergonomic saddles based on laboratory studies at university level. The result is the Scientia – a complete spectrum of 6 ergonomic saddles designed to suit every rider. The choice of a Scientia saddle is based on measuring the width of the sit bones.

Athletic-type saddles are designed for cyclists who ride in a forward-leaning, sportier position at an angle of roughly 45°.
