The Shimano CUES FC-U6000 cranks are designed for 1x9, 1x10 and 1x11 speed single-chainring drivetrains. A 42T chainring is suited mainly to trekking, cross and city bikes, where it allows brisk riding on the flat and a sufficient gear range when combined with a cassette with a larger sprocket.

The CUES series with Linkglide technology is designed for higher durability and longer drivetrain life in everyday use or under higher loads on an e-bike.
