The Mavic DEEMAX ENDURO SL 29 rear built wheel is engineered specifically for demanding enduro courses, where high durability, reliability and precise steering response are required.
The basis of the wheel is a welded rim made of Maxtal alloy with an internal width of 30 mm and a depth of 22 mm, which provides firm support for modern wide tyres. The durable Blackshield surface treatment protects the rim against scratches and impacts from flying stones. Thanks to the integrated aluminium Fore nipples, the inner bridge of the rim stays continuous, which ensures trouble-free tubeless use in the UST Tubeless Ready system.
The lacing consists of 28 straight, extra-flat and tapered steel spokes with an anti-rotation lock, laced 3× crossed for maximum stiffness under drive and stability when braking. The aluminium hub with a Boost 12×148 mm thru axle standard features QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play adjustment and the Instant Drive 360 ratchet freewheel mechanism, which guarantees fast and reliable engagement. The wheel is fitted with a SRAM XD freehub body and mounting for discs with 6 holes.
