Chill Zone is your last resort when you need to free a seized seatpost from the frame, a rusted bolt, a fused thread or get an old rusty chain moving again. The product freezes any metal down to -45 °C. This causes the metal to shrink and the joint to loosen. Simply spray Chill Zone on the object for 10 to 20 seconds, wait 60 to 90 seconds and loosen the part.

Chill Zone is probably the most advanced penetrating anti-corrosion product. Before you throw in the towel over a stuck crank bolt, a rusty front derailleur spring, a seized seatpost in the frame or a rusty chain, try Chill Zone! Bike parts that you would have to throw away can be restored so you can ride again the next day.

A special cooling medium freezes metal down to -45°C. This causes the metal to contract and creates micro-cracks in the corrosion and in galvanically fused metal parts. The penetrating release agent then breaks down and flushes out the rust. Thanks to Chill Zone, most seized parts regain full function.

How to use: Simply spray the rusted part for 10 to 20 seconds and wait 2-3 minutes for the release agent to fully soak in and break up the rust. For heavily rusted welded parts, spray longer (30-60 seconds) to achieve the maximum freezing effect, and then wait ten minutes to one hour for the rust to break down thoroughly. When restoring a bicycle chain, always soak one small section at a time.
