Ergotec suspension seatpost ERGOTEC SP-10.0 31.6/350mm / 45 mm travel / SL5

Ergotec suspension seatpost ERGOTEC SP-10.0 31.6/350mm / 45 mm travel / SL5

The suspension seatpost offers high riding comfort and is designed for city, trekking and MTB use. The seatpost uses coil springs, which allow an adjustable suspension characteristic and very good sensitivity. With a travel of 45 mm, it is a solution for comfortable riding, effectively absorbing bumps and impacts on uneven roads and off-road. To set the suspension according to the riders weight, the seatpost has an adjustable steel spring preload. Using an Allen key, you can easily adjust the preload and set the ideal suspension characteristic. As standard, the seatpost is fitted with a steel spring that provides first-class suspension for riders weighing 70 – 120 kg. Optional springs are also available for the weight categories 50 - 90 kg (product code 61 033) and 90 - 140 kg (product code 61 034). Replaceable springs are supplied separately as seatpost accessories.

Easy installation and saddle adjustment is made possible by a two-bolt clamp, which allows individual adjustment of the saddle angle for an ergonomically optimised seating position. The seatpost is suitable for mounting saddles with a rail diameter of 7 mm. The seatpost head offset is 15 mm.

Ergotec SAFETY LEVEL is a safety classification for bicycle handlebars, stems and seatposts. Ergotec products are classified into safety levels 1 to 6, where each level guarantees a higher degree of protection and reliability.

Handlebars, stems and seatposts undergo intensive, long-term tests, both individually and in combinations, which ensures maximum safety on every ride. These tests are carried out not only in accordance with European standards, but often also to stricter internal standards.

Ergotec boasts the largest bicycle handlebar test centre in Europe, which makes it a leader in safety. With Ergotec products you can be sure that a higher safety level really means greater protection and comfort while riding.
