MAVIC COSMIC S 42 DISC CENTERLOCK REAR SHIMANO 11 (R00078803)

The Mavic Cosmic S 42 Disc rear road built wheel with a full-carbon rim is a balanced solution for riding on flats and in hilly terrain. The rim profile with a depth of 42 mm together with the flat spokes minimises air drag and ensures stability at high speeds. The low rim weight makes acceleration easier and saves energy on steep climbs.

The internal rim width of 21 mm provides optimal support for modern wider tyres. UST Tubeless Ready technology allows easy use of tubeless tyres, bringing higher comfort, better grip and a reduced risk of punctures. The wheel is laced with 24 steel spokes and relies on durable sealed QRM Auto bearings with self-adjusting play.

Instant power transfer to the pedalling is provided by the Instant Drive 360 ratchet freehub body. The wheel is designed for disc brakes with the Center Lock mounting system and for a 12×142 mm thru axle, with the option of converting to quick release using optional adapters.
