The 29" Mavic E-CROSSTRAIL SL built wheels are designed directly for the specific demands of modern e-bikes (E-MTB), where emphasis is placed on high durability, torque transfer and low weight to preserve handling off-road.

The set is based on durable rims made of Maxtal alloy with an internal width of 30 mm and a profile height of 22 mm. The patented FORE technology integrates the nipples directly into the lower bridge of the rim, which keeps the upper wall intact without drilling. The rim therefore needs no tubeless tape, is stiffer and ensures reliable UST Tubeless Ready tubeless use. Protection of the tyre and rim against punctures on hard impacts with obstacles is enhanced by the integrated PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) technology.

The aluminium INFINITY hubs feature a reinforced construction adapted to the higher load from the electric motor. The proven toothed mechanism of the Instant Drive 360 freehub body provides lightning-fast and efficient power transfer. The sealed industrial QRM Auto bearings adjust automatically and keep running smooth without developing play.

The lacing consists of 28 steel, straight and flat spokes with a butted profile and anti-rotation protection, laced with a triple-cross pattern on both the front and rear wheel for optimal lateral stiffness and comfort.
