The Mavic E-CROSSTRAIL SL 29 front built wheel is developed directly for the demanding needs of e-bikes. It combines the robustness needed for the higher load of an e-bike, low weight and excellent handling off-road.

The basis of the wheel is a 30mm aluminium rim made of light and strong Maxtal alloy with a profile height of 22 mm. Resistance to damage and punctures is fundamentally increased by the patented technologies FORE (integrated nipple threads without compromising the upper wall of the rim and without the need for sealing tape) and PFP (protection limiting tyre pinching). The wheel is fully ready for tubeless tyres in the UST Tubeless Ready system.

The INFINITY front hub features a reinforced construction rated for e-bike loads, which brings efficient power transfer and fast steering response. Smooth running with minimal maintenance is ensured by QRM Auto industrial bearings with self-adjusting preload. Stiffness and reliability are provided by lacing of 28 straight steel spokes with a flat aero profile and an anti-rotation treatment, laced with a triple cross.

The wheel is designed for forks of the Boost 15×110 mm standard and disc brakes with 6-bolt mounting.
