The Mavic E-Deemax S 29 built wheels are developed directly for the specific loads of modern e-bikes. The basis of the set is durable rims made of Maxtal alloy with a Black Shield protective finish, which effectively protects the material from impacts and scratches from flying stones. Targeted ISM milling saves weight where it does not reduce strength, and PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) technology with a wider contact surface on the rim sidewalls significantly reduces the risk of pinch flats or cuts to the tyre in rough terrain.

Rims with an internal width of 30 mm and a wide central channel allow easy fitting of even highly durable UST Tubeless Ready tubeless tyres. The integrated aluminium Fore nipples are screwed directly into the lower bridge of the rim, the upper bridge remains intact and the rim therefore needs no tubeless tape. Quick engagement and high resistance to the motors torque are provided by the Instant Drive 360 freewheel system. Smooth running is ensured by sealed QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play compensation.
