The Evergreen in the Ride Concepts range in a brand-new generation. A real Freerider from RC. Work was done on everything that could be improved, and the result is a shoe with maximum comfort, protection and efficient power transfer to the pedal. In line with RCs motto "ride every day", the Livewire is ideal for the everyday combination of cycling and regular walking. The model is ideal for trail, slopestyle and non-racing enduro. Designed for flat (platform) pedals.

The new generation also comes with a new upper material that is more durable, yet more breathable and lighter than its suede predecessor. In addition, the entire heel and inner ankle are made from a new material that will not wear through or scuff against the frame or cranks of the bike.

The construction of the model Livewire is identical to the Vice, where the sole flows smoothly into the upper and the connection is ensured by a combination of welding and stitching. Whereas the Tallac, Hellion, Accomplice, Transition etc. models use a different construction made up, in order, of a sole, a midsole and an upper. That one is more suitable for more performance-oriented riders.

Both the toe and heel are specially protected by an integrated TPU guard. The upper is in turn treated against kicks and abrasion.

A great added value is the insole, which protects the heel and toe footstrike area with injected EVA foam. The foot is thus less tired and less prone to bruising.

Tightening with anti-slip laces. The tongue has a loop on it for stowing the laces so that they do not move around freely and cannot come into contact with the bike or catch on an obstacle.

High Grip sole offers the perfect balance between grip and durability. High Grip is the dominant feature of the Vice, Vice Mid and Livewire models. There is also a grippier Max Grip compound (Tallac, Hellion, Accomplice, Transition etc.), but it proved too grippy for the categories of riders the Livewire is designed for, and for slopestyle-oriented riders it is so grippy that it does not allow them to work with the foot during demanding tricks.
