The Evergreen in the Ride Concepts range, now also for the smallest shredders. They too deserve quality footwear on their balance bikes and first bikes that will not only help them pedal well but also protect their feet. Children use every material to the maximum. That is why ordinary trainers, which they wear for example at the playground, do not hold up on a bike. They lack the necessary stiffness, durability and protection.

The new Livewire comes with an upper material that is durable, yet breathable. In addition, the entire heel and inner ankle are made from a material that will not wear through or scuff against the frame or cranks of the bike.

The construction of the Livewire model is identical to the Vice, where the sole flows seamlessly into the upper and the join is ensured by a combination of welding and stitching. Whereas the adult Tallac, Hellion, Accomplice, Transition etc. models use a different construction made up, in order, of sole, midsole and upper. That one is more suitable for more performance-oriented riders.

Both the toe and heel are specially protected by an integrated TPU guard. The upper is in turn treated against kicks and abrasion. A great added value is the insole, which protects the heel and toe footstrike area with injected EVA foam. The foot is thus less tired and less prone to bruising.

Tightening is ensured by three simple hook-and-loop straps that even the children can manage themselves.

High Grip sole offers the perfect balance between grip and durability. High Grip is the dominant feature of the Vice, Vice Mid and Livewire models. There is also a grippier Max Grip compound (Tallac, Hellion, Accomplice, Transition etc.), but it proved too grippy for the categories of riders the Livewire is designed for, and for slopestyle-oriented riders it is so grippy that it does not allow them to work with the foot during demanding tricks.
