The Verdict is WTBs most aggressive front tyre, designed for conditions where great traction takes priority over efficient rolling. The tall, robust tread knobs bite deep into soft terrain, no matter how unstable it may be. The generous open space between the individual knobs allows them to cut into the ground even on the driest summer days and, conversely, enables effective self-cleaning of mud in less friendly weather.

The Verdict complements the Judge rear tyre excellently.

New SG1 protection

SG1 represents the toughest and most durable protection technology ever paired with the iconic WTB Trail Boss, Vigilante, Judge and Verdict tyre patterns. This technology takes the proven two-ply "Tough" variant to a whole new level.

The added puncture protection runs under the entire tread of the tyre, which increases its resistance to sharp objects hidden in the terrain. With the clear aim of strengthening the most vulnerable parts of the tyre, WTB introduced its new Inner Peace + technology, which triples the height of the bead protection for SG1. This improvement not only protects the tyre bead from damage but also significantly strengthens the structure of the sidewalls.

TriTec compound

TriTec uses three rubber compounds to provide different levels of traction, support and durability based on their placement in the tyre. The entire pattern is supported by a base of very hard rubber that extends up to half the height of the tread knobs and allows softer compounds to be used in the knobs without them deforming under cornering forces. The top of the centre knobs consists of a medium-durometer compound that provides traction and durability without reducing rolling efficiency, while the outer knobs are made of the softest compound, which provides maximum grip and slow rebound.
