LAKE MX333 racing MTB shoes with two BOA Li2 closure systems and a completely redesigned 100% carbon Lake Race sole providing high stiffness with the required power transfer to the pedal, with the option of individual moulding of the carbon heel part. Combined with Mountain Race X rubber, the shoes are also comfortable for walking. The upper is made of quality leather with a Helcor finish for increased abrasion resistance and a long service life that retains high breathability and water resistance.

Upper

Helcor leather with increased abrasion resistance combined with Outlast lining in the heel and tongue area. Helcor leather was specially designed to withstand even riding in demanding conditions and not be prone to scratching or other mechanical damage. On the inside, the shoe is reinforced with Carbitex material for even higher strength. The redesigned BOA closure position and the ergonomically more efficient shape of the upper tongue area ensure even better securing and seating of the foot in the shoe. The leather upper has minimal stitching, which gives the shoe a discreet look, and over time it adapts perfectly to your foot. Outlast material, which regulates temperature and offers a pleasant feeling inside the shoe while maintaining breathability, is used for the heel and tongue lining.

The features of the MX333 model give you a unique opportunity to individually adapt the shape of the shoe to your own foot. Thanks to the mouldable carbon heel part, you can repeatedly adapt the shoe to the shape of your foot and thus achieve a better feeling inside the shoe and higher pedalling efficiency.

Sole

The top MTB model uses the LAKE patented dual carbon sole. The inner part is made of partially flexible carbon, which creates greater comfort and prevents pressure points on the foot in critical areas. A rigid, durable carbon is used for the outer part of the sole, ensuring stiffness and maximum power transfer without sacrificing riding comfort. The sole is complemented with Mountain Race X rubber for secure walking in terrain.

Fastening

Two BOA closure systems with two-way Li2 BOA® tension adjustment. The two-way closure system lets you achieve optimal tightness. Thanks to its lower profile, the new shape minimises the ingress of dirt and reduces the risk of damage.

Aftercare and maintenance of the shoes during use:

• The basis of footwear care is good-quality waterproofing, even before the first wear.
• The main function of waterproofing is to prevent moisture from penetrating the footwear. This not only protects the upper of the shoes from damage, but above all ensures flexibility and a long service life.
• Use a standard waterproofing product intended for genuine leather footwear.
• Apply the waterproofing to clean, well-dried footwear.
• If necessary, a brush can be used to mechanically remove dirt.
