Halo Hot Wax is a chain wax for those who do not want to make compromises. The wax sachet is melted in hot water, the chain is dipped into it and left to dry. The reward for the more demanding application is unrivalled chain performance, with dirt that does not stick to it, low friction and above all a large mileage per single wax application. A whole sachet lasts for approx. 25 applications.

HALO HOT WAX chain lubricant is designed to dramatically improve drivetrain performance in both dry and wet conditions: 1. It significantly reduces the attraction of abrasive dirt. 2. It provides an unrivalled level of reduced drivetrain friction. 3. It ensures extreme mileage performance between re-lubrication intervals.

Three high-quality ingredients deliver outstanding results:

Highly refined paraffin creates a robust coating that is dry to the touch, repels water, removes abrasive dirt that causes friction and practically eliminates staining on the chain.

Spherical Tungsten has a patented hollow core that reduces vibration friction caused by high-torque pedalling. The micron and spherical shape helps reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the chain surface.

Ceramic boron nitride platelets coat the chain and form a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works synergistically with the spherical tungsten, reducing wear and helping to extend the life of expensive drivetrain components.

Break the chain. Clean and dry the chain completely before first use.

To melt the wax pellets, place the HALO sachet in a pot of water and bring the water to a gentle simmer (80-90°C).

Thread the chain onto the Immersion Tool supplied in the HOT WAX sachet. Scan the QR code for the best technique.

Once the wax pellets are completely melted, remove the sachet and place it on a covered work surface.

Use the Immersion Tool to dip the chain into the melted wax.

Leave the chain in the wax for at least 3 minutes to ensure full penetration into the chain bushings.
