Selle Royal saddle ELLIPSE - ATHLETIC

Selle Royal saddle ELLIPSE - ATHLETIC

Enjoy comfortable city trips. The Ellipse is an ideal cycling saddle for city rides of any length thanks to the patented 3D Skingel™ padding complemented by a central anatomical cut-out that provides pressure relief for sensitive tissue while also improving ventilation. For greater protection of the saddle sides against scuffing, a second, more durable layer has been added for every conceivable urban adventure and for leaning the bike up absolutely anywhere.

Athletic saddles are for riders who are used to riding at a faster pace and keeping their back at a lower angle (around 45°).

Riding position is a decisive factor when choosing the optimal saddle. Depending on your riding style, the way your sit bones contact the saddle differs substantially, which in turn affects the level of comfort. Selle Royal saddles are ergonomically designed to fit all sit bone widths and to meet the anatomical needs of both men and women, guaranteeing pressure relief in the most sensitive areas. Choose the right riding position from 45° (Athletic), 60° (Moderate) or 90° (Relaxed) to enjoy a pain-free ride.

3D Skingel: An advanced technology in which Royal Gel is strategically placed where it is needed most, resulting in significant weight savings of up to 42% and also better pressure distribution of up to 40%.

Royal Vacuum: Enjoy your ride with a waterproof saddle. This patented Selle Royal technology makes it possible to produce a saddle that is 100% sealed and highly waterproof, even when you ride in heavy rain.

Ergonomic Hole: This ergonomic central cut-out was designed to reduce pressure on the perineal area, making it an ideal saddle for the most sensitive riders. No more pain, just ride!

DOUBLE-COVER SIDE PROTECTION: Say NO to torn saddle edges and lean your bike against anything, really anywhere: two durable layers on the sides of the saddle increase its resistance to scuffing or tearing.

INTEGRATED CLIP SYSTEM: The integrated clip on the rear of the saddle allows you to attach a saddle bag or other accessories.
