Zefal DT Armor XL
EXTRA-WIDE DOWN TUBE PROTECTION
DT Armor XL is a self-adhesive protector for the down tube of your bike.
It is thick and robust and offers a higher level of protection than thinner transparent films such as our Skin Armor. With good absorption properties, it is highly effective against stone impacts while also reducing noise. It is highly resistant to water, scratching, abrasion and peeling, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations. This flexible, large-size protector is universal and compatible with all types of frames regardless of material.
Particularly suitable for large tubes of up to 90 mm, it is ideal for riders who want to protect their bike and preserve its value for resale.
Turn the bike over for better visibility.
2. Hold the protector in the desired position on the frame to see whether any cuts or adjustments are needed.
3. Wash your hands.
4. Clean the frame with a cleaning product, such as a glass cleaner.
5. Peel the protective layer off the adhesive.
6. Stick the middle section of the protector onto one side.
7. Gradually apply the central section of the protector along the frame.
8. Starting from the central section, stick on the side sections of the protector.
9. Wipe the protector with a soft cloth to ensure even application and remove trapped air.
1. Do not heat with a hair dryer.
2. Start by lifting one of the ends and make sure that both layers of the product have been peeled off properly.
3. Slowly pull the product off and roll it up.
4. Continue until the protector is completely peeled off.
5. If any adhesive residue remains, remove it with a "White Spirit" type solvent (turpentine substitute) (ACETONE-FREE).
