The Schwalbe Smart Sam Cargo is designed specifically for cargo bikes and e-bikes that need to cope with high loads while moving over different types of terrain – both on and off the road.

Purpose and versatility: It is a versatile tyre, ideal for riding outside urban areas. The Smart Sam tread profile (known from Schwalbe MTB tyres) provides good rolling resistance on paved roads while giving secure grip off-road, on gravel, unpaved paths or even in mud. It is a good compromise for those who often switch between road and off-road.

Load capacity: One of its main strengths is its high load capacity. Thanks to the robust Super Defense construction (six-layer 67-EPI casing) it can carry considerable loads. The maximum load capacity varies by tyre size: 24x2.35": 145 kg

Puncture protection: The Super Defense construction also provides excellent puncture protection, which is key for cargo bikes.

Compound: It uses the ADDIX E compound, which was developed specifically for e-bikes. This compound offers maximum durability, low rolling resistance and exceptional grip even at higher speeds.

Design and safety: It has reflective stripes on the sidewalls for better visibility and safety in poor light conditions.
