The CRS-15.2 is a specialised tool set designed for installing crown races on forks with oversized steerer tubes with a diameter of 1 1/4" and 1.5".

How it works:

Using a long, sturdy tube, one of the two components (so-called drifts) and a hammer or mallet (not included), the tool safely and precisely seats the crown race in the correct place on the fork.

Kit contents:

• Two drifts made of anodised aluminium with diameters of:

1 1/4"

• 1.5"

These drifts are designed to protect the crown race from damage during installation.

The CRS-15.2 is an ideal tool for professional workshops as well as demanding home mechanics who want to ensure correct and safe installation of crown races.

Compatibility:

• Steerer tubes with a diameter of 1 1/4" or 1.5" (31.7 to 38.1 mm)
• Supported sizes according to the SHIS standard: 33 and 40
• Steerer tube length of up to 330 mm without the extension, or up to 425 mm with the extension

Note:

The steerer tube diameter for setting the crown race is measured at its lower end (the base). For steerer tubes with a diameter of 1" or 1 1/8" use the CRS-1 Crown Race Setter.
