Park Tool VP-1C Vulcanizing Patch Kit

A puncture does not have to mean the end of your ride. The Park Tool VP-1 contains everything needed to repair a punctured tube and get it working again.

Park Tool VP-1 – Tube repair kit

Thanks to the included vulcanising solution, the butyl patches form a molecular bond with the tube, which ensures a permanent and durable repair.

A simple repair procedure:

• Apply a thin layer of vulcanising solution to the damaged spot
• Let it dry for a moment
• Remove the film from the patch
• Press it on (especially at the edges)
• Wait 1–2 minutes and check the bond

The VP-1 is compatible with almost all bicycle tubes and thanks to its compact packaging fits comfortably into a saddle bag or jersey pocket – an ideal companion for every ride.

• Compatible with butyl rubber tubes and latex tubes
• Not compatible with tubeless tyres or TPU tubes (e.g. Tubolito or Schwalbe® Aerothan®)

Note: The vulcanising solution dries out over time after the tube is opened – it is recommended to check it regularly and replace it if necessary.
