The BBT-18 is a robust die-cast tool designed for removing and installing components with an eight-notch interface. It is used, for example, on selected cartridge bottom brackets and also on chainring lockrings of some e-bike drive systems.

BBT-18 features

The tool is used for installing and removing components with an eight-notch interface, specifically:

• Shimano® Octalink® left-hand bottom bracket with external notches
• ISIS Drive bottom brackets, including Truvativ® and Bontrager® brands
• Front chainring lockring for Bosch® Gen 3, Gen 4 and Gen 5 e-bike systems
• Front chainring lockring for Specialized® Levo Brose e-bikes

Tool specifications:

• 8 notches with a nominal outer diameter of 43.4 mm
• The centre hole of the casting has a diameter of 22.5 mm and does not fit spindles with a diameter larger than 30 mm
• The wrench flats are 36 mm in size
