Park Tool RT-1 Headset and Bottom Bracket Cup Remover

The RT-1 makes it easier to remove headset and bottom bracket bearing cups with a press-fit seat.

The tool is passed through the frame until the expanded ends lock behind the edge of the cup. The end of the tool is then struck with a rubber mallet, and the expanded ends distribute the force evenly around the circumference of the cup, driving it out.

Made of durable alloy steel with heat treatment and a nickel-plated finish for long life.

RT-1 features

• Removes bearing cups from head tubes conforming to the 1", 1 1/8" and 1 1/4" headset standards
• According to SHIS terminology: removes EC29, EC30, EC33, EC34 and EC37 cups
• Also removes some press-fit bottom bracket cups, including the SRAM® DUB®, Campagnolo® Power Torque™ and Campagnolo® Ultra Torque® systems
• Intended for cups or bearings with an inner diameter of 27 to 38 mm (1.06" to 1.5")
• Nominal outer diameter of the tool shaft: 25.4 mm (1")
