AP-1 prepares surfaces, speeds up curing and ensures maximum effectiveness of Park Tool TLR-1 and TLR-2 (thread lockers), as well as RC-1 (retaining compound).

It is conveniently packaged as a pen for easy and precise application.

NOTE:

If you use a thread locker or retaining compound on a carbon fibre (carbon) surface, you must first apply an adhesive primer (base coat). If you fail to do so, the parts may become permanently bonded.

WARNING:

Some painted surfaces may be sensitive to thread lockers, retaining compounds and primers. First test on an inconspicuous area for discolouration or damage. Wipe off immediately any excess material from painted surfaces.
