AskPark Tool FR-5.2G Cassette Lockring Tool with 5mm Guide Pin
The reliable design of our FR-5.2 lockring tool is complemented in the FR-5.2G model by a 5 mm diameter guide pin, which stabilises the tool when used with quick-release hubs. The FR-5.2G is designed to fit the most common type of cassette lockring interface for 7–12 speeds, including models from Shimano®, SRAM® and other brands.
It is also suitable for disc brake lockrings and adapters with 12 internal splines. Thanks to the thin-walled design, the tool can be used without removing the cones and lock nuts. The base with a 1" hex allows use with a ratchet, a wrench or clamping in a vise. Made of hardened alloy tool steel for long life.
FR-5.2G – Features
Compatible with 12-spline tool interfaces with an approximate outer diameter of 23.4 mm, including:
- Cassette lockrings from Shimano®, SRAM® (including 1x), SunRace®, SunTour®, Chris King® and others
- Disc brake lockrings and adapters with 12 internal splines from Shimano® and other manufacturers
Base with a 1" hex – can be used with a 1" socket wrench or an open-end wrench.
