Park Tool BBT-19.2 Bottom Bracket Tool — 16-Notch 44 mm OD

The Park Tool BBT-19.2 is a tool designed for removing and installing bottom brackets with a 16-tooth interface, which includes most Shimano® external-bearing models. This high-precision tool is made of hardened chromoly steel, which ensures durability and long life. The BBT-19.2 can be used with a standard wrench, socket wrench or a 3/8" drive, ensuring flexibility when working on various types of bicycles.

BBT-19.2 features

This tool is compatible with 16-tooth threaded bottom bracket fixing elements with a major diameter of 44–45 mm (outer diameter of the teeth) and a minor diameter of 42.7 mm (inner diameter of the teeth). It suits, for example, the following models:

• Shimano® BB80, BB5700, XT BB70, BB51 and previous external-bearing threaded cups
• Campagnolo®
• SRAM®/Truvativ® GXP
• Chris King®
• FSA MegaExo®
• Hope®
• Race Face® X-type
• Surly®
• Wheels Manufacturing™
• Fulcrum®

The tool also fits the 16-tooth lockrings of the mid-drive motors of Bafang® BBSH and BBS02 e-bikes.

• Connection for a 3/8" socket wrench
• Flats for a 1" wrench

Warning: due to the shallow engagement of the tool, the BBT-19.2 is not recommended for 16-tooth disc brake lockrings. For these, use the Park Tool BBT-9 or BBT-69.4 tools.

The tool is not intended for use with impact wrenches or other power tools.
