Park Tool TNS-1 – Star-fangled nut installation tool
The TNS-1 is used for installing star nuts used in threadless headsets. The nut is screwed onto the tool, inserted into the fork steerer and driven in with a hammer. The tool sets the nut depth to 15 mm and holds it in the correct position during installation. Thanks to the long handle it helps prevent pinched fingers.
TNS-1 features
- Compatible with 1" and 1 1/8" headsets that use a standard star nut with an M6 thread
- Replaceable set screw – part no. 822
