Park Tool DF-1 – Fork removal tool

The DF-1 is an indispensable helper for all situations where the fork needs to be taken off the bike while keeping the handlebars, headset spacers and brake calliper organised. The tool is installed in the headset and secured with the bikes stem.

The 1 1/8" steerer tube contains an expansion nut (star nut) for holding the top cap and spacers, while the 2" extended cone ensures compatibility with tapered head tubes. The integrated brake mount allows all types of disc brake callipers and most types of rim brakes to be attached. A protective spacer is also included, which prevents the hydraulic disc brakes from being accidentally actuated.

The tool is nickel-plated and powder-coated for long life.

DF-1 features

• Steerer tube 28.6 mm (1 1/8") with a length of 284 mm (11.2")
• Cone with a diameter of 51 mm (2") for compatibility with tapered steerer tubes
• The brake mount has holes with metric threads M5, M6 and through holes

NOTE: Compatible only with threadless 1 1/8" stems – not compatible with threaded headsets and stems.
